A Cool Discovery Of EWC Damper

By Eloise Hewitt

People would never exchange special privileges, like living under the comforts of your own home. They would find ways to make everything beneficial or smiling in their favor. You would always strive for the best, if not, next to perfect. You want to be in an environment that you can manage or have power over.

Most people consider their home, their ultimate source of power. It is where they can be comfortable with themselves and where no one has power over them. No one can tell them what to do in their own homes. You are the boss in your own house. You control everything, even the weather. Yes, you can, with the help of a good heating and cooling unit, and an EWC damper.

A damper selectively controls the heat or coldness inside a building. It is used to adjust the cooling and heating system inside your homes. The good thing about this, is it uses the zoning method, maximizing your control in each zone or room in your house. Motorized dampers depended on thermostats to adjust the temperature, set by the owner.

A house with just one thermostat has a temperature that is harder to manage. This is because it can only set one temperature in the whole house or it is one zone. While, a house with multiple thermostats, owners can control their desired temperature in each room independently. This process is called zoning, or controlling the heat and air conditioning in a separate environment inside a house or building.

Each thermostat placed in a room has the ability to turn off or turn on the heating and cooling. Twenty thermostats can be installed in a building or home to control the temperature in each room. This is the accommodating capacity of the zoning system. The damper system controls the amount of airflow and deliver only the desired air to the desired location.

The basic components of a zoning system are a control panel, zone thermostats, zone dampers, dedicated transformer, and a bypass damper if necessary. The control panel acts as the central processor of the system. Thermostats allow independent temperature control. And the zone dampers control the airflow to the thermostats. The power in the system is the transformer.

Dampers can be controlled manually or with automatic. Manual dampers are turned on by the handle on the other part of the duct. Automatic dampers are constantly used to regulate airflow. They are operated by automatic motors which are controlled by thermostats or building automation system.

Dampers are pretty useful in houses during the winters. It keeps the cold air out, and contains the warm air inside. Dampers are installed in the upper part of the chimney with a knob that needs to be pulled to power on. This should be opened when lighting the chimney to avoid house fire. It may also cause serious damages in the interior of your home.

There are always preventive measures to follow to make sure that usage and installation of these devices are properly done. It is always better to be cautious in whatever you do. Serious damages may happen if you are not taking good precautions in using the modern equipment you have at home. There are ways to help in promoting proper care for your environment.
