The other method of mopping the fireplaces involves two people. One person grabs the rope from one end while the other grabs it from the bottom of a chimney. They both pull and push and scrub to remove the material. This method is common where there are two or more people around.

Cleaning a chimney is essential if you are to maintain hygiene inside your house. Dirt accumulates when materials burn. Therefore to prevent the ash and dust from been blown by wind into the other parts of the house, you must clean it regularly. Proper cleaning means you will not clean the bottom part and leave the upper part unattended.
