Get Accurate Inspection Results With A Bed Bug Dog Providence

By Etta Bowen

Bedbugs are very hard to control and when they invade your premises, you would better be prepared to face a rocky situation. Eliminating bugs requires proper inspection and extermination measures. A bed bug dog Providence can help in finding out if bugs have invaded your premises. Today, bugs have developed resistance to common extermination chemicals used to kill them.

An effective extermination process starts with a thorough inspection using the best methods available. Just because a canine is doing the detection, it does not mean that the contribution of the handler is not needed. In fact, canines will only produce an alert to indicate where there is a bug in a specific location. Whenever it points to that location, the handler then uses his or her skill to find where the bug it.

Bedbugs are commonly found in hotels and other public places where they could easily be transferred to other areas by people. When you visit a hotel and spend a night there, you could carry the bugs in your clothes or luggage. The next time you stop by a hotel to spend a night try to examine the room you are sleeping in and if you detect that it has some signs of bugs, you would better not board there.

When you do a visual inspection and find a bug in a room, you assume that every surface and item in that room should be treated. However, this may be a waste of resources since most of the chemicals used only go to wastage. With canines, they show the exact spot where the bugs are present. In addition, canines are able to distinguish between live and dead bugs, nymphs, eggs, and skeletons.

If the population is left to multiply and increase, it makes the control of these pests very difficult. One big problem is that bugs are now resistant to chemicals used in exterminating them. Proper control methods are needed including prevention of the bugs from infesting premises. Bedbugs do not invade premises because they are dirty.

Its bites may also be confused with bites of other insects such as misquotes. The most effective way of detecting bugs is use of canines. There are dogs that have been trained to detect bugs very fast and offer very accurate results. If you are inspecting large properties where there are hundreds of rooms, using visual inspection could take you months.

False alerts can actually happen and in most cases is occurs because the training given to the dog was not done substantially. Besides, the handler should know how to handle the dog. At times, handlers leave everything for the dog to handle not understanding that for an effective canine detection, it also needs the input of the handler.

Homeowners need to ensure they inspect premises to determine if they are invaded by bugs. There should be no treatment of surfaces using extermination methods unless a live bug has been detected. Although an effective extermination is witnessed when the population is small, there is another problem. Detecting bugs in such minimal populations is very difficult. It is almost impractical to see a single bug in a room.
